CenterPieceNY goes on Extended Hiatus..

A message from Paul Finnegan, creator, producer and host of CenterPieceNY.
==================================================
Dear Friend,
Whether you've been actively listening to my creation, the CenterPieceNY podcast, or can only spare the time to be an occasional listener, or haven't been paying any attention to it at all, due to your own time constraints and preferences, here's a quick update for you:
I normally take a break in July and August from producing new episodes, but this time around, instead of returning to it in September, I am putting CenterPieceNY on an extended hiatus.
The reason? I need now to focus on other projects I have in the works. These include, but are not limited to, other podcast/audio documentary work .
I am unsure if, or when, I will bring back CenterPieceNY, and if I do, I may decide to rebrand it, and point it in a new direction.
Be that as it may, I have had the most wonderful experiences with CenterPieceNY, especially the 'in the moment' connections I was able to make with my interviewees a.k.a my centerpieces. Just as I once had to up my game to speak in public, I've now sharpened my interview skills, i.e. conducting one-on-one conversations in the public domain.
And, through the heavy workload involved in producing a podcast to the high standards of CenterPieceNY, from A to Z, I also learned storytelling (story crafting, to use a more precise term), sound design, audio editing and narration.
More skills acquired for life's toolkit!
I'll continue to leave CenterPieceNY for you on all the usual platforms (Spotify/Apple etc..) and on this website, so you can always browse and listen to past episodes. With three seasons, and over 30 episodes, each episode being about an hour long, and wonderful centerpieces, there's plenty of content here for you to choose from!
Finally, for now, thank you for being a valued CenterPieceNY listener.

It's fair to say I've been neglecting my blog, The BlogSledder. A combination of having limited time and a focus on more pressing priorities can be trotted out as my excuses, however strong or weak they may be.
